Who requires a Visa?
You will require a visa to enter into Australia unless you are a New Zealand passport holder or you are continuing your journey within 8 hours of arrival, hold a valid onward ticket and you are not leaving the transit lounge.

Please note that:
All Australian Visas have to be obtained prior to departure. You will not be able to board your aircraft without a valid visa/ETA and passports/travel documents;

There many Australian visas that allow you to visit Australia. It is important that you have the correct visa for you, that covers your intended stay and purpose of visit. Time required to issue visas:
All Australian Visas Are granted at the discretion of the Australian Department Of Immigration A Citizenship (DIAC) and deemed upon the individuals application. However, based on our experience and should your application not encounter any unexpected issues we have listed a guideline below as a reference
Tourist Visa ETA - issued in 24 hours
Working Holiday Visa - issued in 48 hours
Six and twelve months tourist visa - issued in 5-10 working days.
These times may be subject to change in periods of high demand.

The Australian DIAC run a no refund policy on all Australian Visas as they charge for work done and not per granted visa, it is therefore important that should you wish to cancel your visa application with Visas Australia Ltd that you contact us immediately to prevent any unnecessary cost being incurred. Once an application for an Australian Tourist visa has been made by us with DIAC we are unable to reimburse you the visa fee.
It is imperative that you supply us with all the correct information required for your requested visa at the time of your intended departure. Visas Australia Ltd cannot be held responsable for any visa granted incorrectly or refused entry due to incorrect visa information. though every effort will be made on our part to correct any visa issues prior to departure, no refund will be given by us in the event of false or incorrect information being supplied at the time of issue. we strongly recommend that you check your visa confirmation letter against your passport and personal information prior to departure
Insurance
With all insurance policies, you have a cooling off period of 14 days form the date of purchase. To cancel your insurance within the cooling off period you must contact us by telephone in the first instance and confirm in writing within the allotted time frame. If you have purchased your travel insurance as part of our free visa offer, the australian visa charge of £110/€145 will be deducted from the total purchase price due to the Australian Governments refund policy as listed above.

What is the difference between the two Australia Skilled Worker Visas?

  • An eligible relative living in Australia who is willing to act as sponsor
  • A nomination from a State or Territory government agency

    Working Holiday in Australia

    Australian Working Holiday Visas

    To be eligible for a working holiday Australia visa you must be between 18 and 30 years of age and from one of the following nations: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Bangladesh, Chile, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey or the USA.
    The Australian working holiday visa allows the applicant to work in Australia for up to 12 months and within this time leave and re-enter as many times as they wish. The holder of an Australian working holiday visa can work for up to six months with a single employer and study for up to four months.
    If you successfully apply for a second working holiday visa for Australia you can work for a further six months for the employer with whom you worked under your first working holiday visa in Australia. It is also possible to work and holiday in Australia as long as you have sufficient funds to support yourself.
    The visa is designed for those who wish to supplement their travel to Australia with aworking holiday. If you wish to travel to Australia for work only, the embassy recommends apply for a visa specifically for that purpose. If you have recently graduated then perhaps the 476 Visa will be appropriate for you.

    Skilled Regional Sponsored Worker Visa for Australia

    You can qualify for Australia visas on the basis of your skills and/or educational background. These types of Australia visas are becoming a preferred way of moving to Australia.
    This stream of migration to Australia targets people who are highly skilled and who will quickly make a contribution to the Australian economy.
    To be eligible, the SRS visa applicant must be sponsored by an Australian state/territory or by an eligible family member living in a designated regional area.
    The applicant must also meet the points test minimum pass mark to qualify or look at work permits like the 856 visa or the regional sponsored Migration Scheme.
    Please note that applicants who are nominated by a state or territory authority will be eligible for additional points under the skilled migration points test. Applicants who are nominated by an eligible relative living in a designated area of Australia will also be entitled to additional points.

    Duration

    These visas entitle people emigrating to Australia to gain temporary residence. It is a three year provisional visa for skilled workers who are unable to meet the criteria for a Skilled Independent visa.
    On these visas, you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent residency after you have lived in Australia for two years and worked for at least 12 months in a specified regional area.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Age

    Applicants must be under 45 years old.

    English Language

    General skilled migration to Australia applicants must have sufficient English language ability. 

    Skills & Qualifications

    The main applicant must meet the qualifications and/or work experience requirements of the appropriate skills assessing body for their profession and must have been assessed as suitable by the relevant body for the nominated occupation;
    Must nominate a skilled occupation that appears on the most recent version of the Skilled Occupations List;
    They must also have been in recent paid employment  for at least 20 hours a week in any of the occupations on the Skilled Occupations List for at 12 of the last 24 months.

    Sponsorship Requirements

    Where a candidate is nominated by a participating state or territory government agency they will normally be required to show evidence of the relevant skills for an occupation which appears on that state or territory's occupation list
    Where a candidate is sponsored by an eligible relative living in a designated area of Australia, the candidate (or their spouse or interdependent partner) must be related to your sponsor as one of the following:
    • A non-dependent child – including an adoptive or step-child
    • A parent – including adoptive or step–parent
    • A brother or sister – including adoptive or step-siblings
    • A niece or nephew – including adoptive or step–niece or nephew
    • An aunt or uncle – including adoptive or step–aunt or uncle
    • A first cousin
    • A grandchild

    Where Can a Sponsor be Living?

    Sponsors must provide evidence that, at the time the department receives the sponsorship application, they have been living in a designated area for one (1) year or longer. Additionally, a sponsor must be able to demonstrate that they will continue to live in a designated area until a decision is made on the visa application.
    As a general guide, Australia's designated areas include:
    • ACT
    • South Australia
    • Northern Territory
    • Tasmania
    • Victoria
    • Queensland – except Brisbane
    • New South Wales – except Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong
    • Western Australia – except Perth.

    High Demand Occupation / Job Offer

    An Australia Skilled Migration visa applicant will receive additional points if their skills are listed as in high demand. Additional points are awarded for a job offer in these high demand areas.

    Australian Study

    General Skilled Migration to Australia applicants who have undertaken successful study within Australia may be able to use these qualifications to support their application.

    Investment

    Applicants for Australian Skilled Migration Visas with the ability to make a capital investment in Australia may be able to use the ability to invest to strengthen their application.

    Spouse

    The qualifications/work experience, family connections and past Australian experience of a spouse may be of support to a marginal Australian Skilled Independent Visa application.

    Health & Character

    Australia has strict health and character requirements that must be met before any permanent visa of more than 12 months will be granted. People attempting skilled migration to Australia on a Skilled Independent visa will be required to:
    • Undergo a medical examination and chest x-ray undertaken by one of a panel of doctors selected by the Australian authorities, and;
    • Obtain police certificates for all countries in which you have lived for more than 12 months in the 10 years leading up to the application.
